  1. My name is Laisa Suriel and I major in accounting at Baruch College. The position I applied for is the knowledge and communications center liaison. My special skills include adaptability and time management. I work well with outlines and can adjust my responses accordingly, targeting different audiences and topics. Additionally, I excel in time management through my usage of planners, recording assignments and deadlines that must be completed by a given week. Within the field of accounting, I am interested in providing accounting services for nonprofits and helping those within local communities unfamiliar with the tax filing process. During my time with the World Cares Center, I aim to expand my knowledge of the responsibilities assigned to nonprofits and enhance my technical and communication skills.
