The Ready Responders Hub is built from decades of disaster response experience to reduce the stressors and pain points in training, coordination, access to resources, and communication with diverse groups of responders Disasters have increased in frequency and in severity. We are faced with compound issues and a rising number of constituents in need. Organizations are tasked with finding new ways to serve while keeping everyone safe. Collaboration, Communication, and Common Foundations are Key
How It Works
We partner with NGOs, leading agencies, and experts in disaster response to make the best one-stop disaster training and coordination portal available to you anywhere, anytime, and it’s free. Select the training you need, get credentialed, and connect with other disaster responders all in one place.
Training
Get trained, get credentialed, and prepare yourself to respond to disasters. Leaders can utilize the credential to reduce the training burden on their organization and work seamlessly with partners in response.
Log on and get started. If you are a leader or manager and would like to join our advisory board, or have questions about the training process, please contact us.
Coordination Network
The Ready Responders Network is a communication and coordination center that follows the playbook field by providing common tools for all stakeholders involved in disaster management.
Log onto the network and fill out your disaster resume, join or create groups, use the tools to intake and manage survivor needs, request volunteers, post situational reports, access and offer resources, and more.
Response
World Cares Center deploys to disaster-stricken areas upon request in support of grassroots community groups in need of additional support. WCC works beside local partners to provide training, medical clinics, resiliency workshops, and guidance.
Once activated, volunteers receive a train-the-trainer program that results in the community being able to deal with disasters long into the recovery process.
