Disasters have increased in frequency and in severity. We are faced with compound issues and a rising number of constituents in need. Our organizations are also tasked with finding new ways to serve while keeping everyone safe. How do we tackle such a mounting challenge while remaining resilient and healthy ourselves? The answer is true collaboration and partnership built on a very clear understanding of how we can complement each other's mission.

Coordination Network

The Ready Responders Network is a communication and coordination center that levels the playing field by providing common tools for all stakeholders involved in disaster management.
Log onto the network and fill out your disaster resume, join or create a group, use the free tools to intake and manage survivors needs, request volunteers, post situational reports, access and offer resources, and more.

Response

World Cares Center deploys to disaster-stricken areas upon request and in support of grassroots community groups in need of additional support. WCC works beside local partners to provide training, medical clinics, resiliency workshops, and supplies. Once the relationship is established, local partners and their volunteers receive a train-the-trainer program that results in the community being able to deal with disasters long into the recovery process.

Reviews From the Community

I took the training during COVID-19. I learned a lot, it was very helpful to me especially since I was out there on the front line doing food distributions and helping the people in the community.
