What is the mission of your organization?
International Chaplains of America Inc. (ICA) advances and promotes the spiritual and material welfare of individuals throughout our community through chaplaincy services. ICA supports Law Enforcement Agencies Including New York City Police Department And Other First Responders Agencies during disasters.
What are the programs you offer?
Under the Volunteers in Police Service program we offer our Security Chaplain Program which is designed to train individuals to respond to multiple high-level threats inside the House of Worship. ICA offers an 8-week Chaplaincy course that covers from the fundamentals of service in the community to disaster response.
How is the International Chaplains of America, Inc responding to the COVID-19 pandemic?
Our Chaplains in Philadelphia, PA are working with their local community leaders to distribute bags of food to the individuals that have been affected financially by COVID-19. We have also implemented safety policies for our volunteers and registered our Bronx location as a working facility for the need of the local government. We are also supporting World Cares Center by translating critical safety messages and training to Spanish.
Describe your partnership with WCC
Our partnership with World Care Center has evolved during the pandemic. We have been working in safety training content translation for the Spanish speaking community. Additionally, we seek to advance our chaplains knowledge through WCC trainings.

We believe in what World Care Center stands for. The online training courses are a great resource for our chaplaincy.
Who benefit from these training?
All of our chaplains benefit from these trainings, from our team on the Board to the chaplains located in different locations throughout Pennsylvania, New jersey, and NYC.
