The Hope, Love & Courage program continues to grow in impact and reach as we move into 2026. Each year, more families rely on this program for emotional support, creative expression, and a safe space to process stress and trauma. Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, HLC has become one of World Cares Center’s most meaningful community initiatives.
In 2026, we are expanding the program to serve more children and caregivers, deepen our partnerships, and host additional workshops throughout the year. This growth means we are also building a reliable, trained volunteer team who can help us create consistent, supportive environments during each session.
As an HLC volunteer, you play a vital role in:
– Preparing the room and materials before families arrive
– Greeting participants and helping them feel welcomed
– Supporting children as they move through art and journaling activities
– Assisting caregivers who may need extra guidance
– Helping maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment
No previous therapeutic or artistic experience is required, just patience, compassion, and a willingness to be present. Volunteers help make each workshop run smoothly and ensure that every child and caregiver has the space they need to express themselves in their own way.
