Hi! My name is
1.Lisa Orloff
2. I am the founder of World Cares Center and the deployment lead.
3. I have 25 years of disaster response and volunteer management experience with a focus on assisting grassroots communities.
4. I am a certified firefighter. I am not a medical professional, however in concert with managing the deployment I assist the team in various tasks.
5. I am conducting an in country assessment on 12/18-21 and leading the team on 1/4-18. I am enaging as many stakeholders as possible to ensure a collaborative response that brings as many of the needed resources as possible to the communities we serve.

3. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, 30+ years as an RN, then APRN. I have deployed with World Cares to Haiti (twice), Ukraine (twice). In the past, I have also been to Jamaica to provide underserved people. My professional experience ranges from critical care to community health.

5. I have reviewed medical supply lists so we can be well prepared to setup the walk in clinic. I am also fundraising.

3. My background is occupational safety and health, specifically in industrial hygiene assessing workplace exposures and medical surveillance. I lived in Houston, Texas for 24 years experiencing first hand Tropical Storm Allison, Hurricanes Ike, Harvey and indirectly Katrina and Rita. I currently work with public health and medical students.
4. I’m trained in First Aid/CPR/AED, First Responder. I’m a Certified Safety Professional and Certified Instructional Trainer, and as a PR Liaison. Will have completed Governmental Operation Liaison training by the time we deploy.
