Many of our volunteers are headed back to work now and going back to their own lives, but we continue to need assistance. We are requesting “Compassionate-Listeners (C-L)” for our residents. Compassionate-Listeners are people who are there to be helpful, showing care and respect in a safe space. They have the ability to hear and understand what someone is saying. How do you know if you’re a “C-L”? Do you make eye contact? Don’t impose your own views to their issue(s)? and can you stay attentive and really show the speaker that you care? Then you are a C-L and we need you! Please continue to give your support, because as the saying goes “In helping others, you may help yourself”. Than you.
